If it were really a macintosh bike it would only have one pedal.

    Having two pedals is crass.

If it were really a macintosh bike it would have lights on the tires, because looking good is better than performing well.

I forgot to add it would cost 300 dollars more than other bikes and when broken would have to be sent in so you can get a new bike or you will void your warranty.

Let me fix some points for you:
It'd cost 300 dollars more than the bike you'd build yourself (after spending a few hours price/part hunting, comparison shopping, etc, but your time has no value so it's not a factor to consider), and you'd look down at those that bought bikes pre-built. And you ignore the fact that it doesn't void the warranty to fix/upgrade it yourself if you know how, and that people who buy other pre-built bikes send theirs in for repair if they don't know how to fix them.

I would rather support my local bike repair economy by using one of my local bike repair stores that doesn't have to go through a big shit-fest and pay hundreds of dollars for inane certification just to fix a specific type of bicycle.

Maybe I found it stupid to buy a bicycle from a company that still thinks that proprietary is the way to go and I don't want to have to pay shit loads of money on THEIR specific upgrade parts that are literally identical to the ones I bought for my own except are somehow more expensive and perform worse on my bike platform.
