that wouldnt change your ip, that would change your physical address...

unless you have a dedicated line with multiple IP addresses assigned to it, you can't just change your address by using a different computer or using a router. Best way to change your IP address would be to go over to your friend's house
but if he banned your C-Network, all of your nieghbors are banned
actually, getting a router does change your IP, just not your hostname. if he banned you by litteral ip than a router will fix it, but if he banned your hostname (which is stupid to do, because most of the time there are about 200 people to a hostname) than your boned.
you could get an anonym, but those can be slow and expencive
when you connect to a server, the server saves your real physical address that can't be changed into a log. trust me. using a simple mani mod ip ban is enough. like I said in other post, if he bans your whole c-network, people who use the same ISP in your area are all banned. if you want to argue that it's possible change your ip address, just let me know and I'll prove it to you that you are wrong.
actually there is a way to change your virtual ip address. if you are using a modem that has a router built into it, you can simply contact your ISP for assigning a new ip address. this does not change your real physical ip address, however, it will change your virtual ip that's issued by your isp.
or if you are an expert, you can change the way DHCP reads new assigned ip addresses and make it accept new ip addresses everytime you rest your modem
thats what a router does, and most ISPs charge you to change your ip.
btw. there is no reason that you would need to change your physical adress
a router is not supposed to change your ip address
