Looks like the update destroyed sourceop. Hopefully valve updates their sdk soon to reflect the changes.
Im guessing it may be a while before we get sourceop back ?

This could be a problem, DF needs to hear about it ASAP... if it is a legit complaint. i would recomment reinstalling the plugin, setting all of your setting s to default and restarting your computer. you might even try a system rollback if your the only one with your server. I would be of more help, but im not that experienced with the source op system itself. (i know about Entmod Adminop and the half-life engine + Source)
same problem here
i reinstalled the program but nothing works
This is horrible then. this is the type of thing that kills small communities like this. does anybody have any specifics on the problem?
is it a complete script failure or does the GUI just not work?
Do you get an error in the console, if so, what is it?
Did steam say anythign about this in any of the updates?
ill look through the update news to see if there are any more specifics.
UPDATE: ill be making a thread on the Steam forums asking about this exact issue sometime today
Okay, i looked through the forums at steam to find the problem. apperantly this was just a bad update. they should fix it with their next one because the following problems are occuring:
The names are huge now...
Messed up rcons (which is the problem with source OP)...
You can pick up health packs but it wont give them to you...
It seemed to lag out like crazy...
The lamp cords are touching the floor...
everything seemed delayed...
From what im hearing you are lucky if you can connect to a server at all.
here is a post from another server-side modder:
Key Phrase being, DEDICATED SERVER! As a memebr of WhutDu♥♥♥'s community, and co-captian of the clan that plays in his server, it will be a huge blow on all of us. All of us includes everybody who plays on servers that use any kind of admin mod, or serverside mod in general. I'm sure mani will get to it, but he may just say F*** it. I am honestly shocked that with an update given to us to make gameplay better, it ends up being a huge thorn in the side for the lot of us.
Don Sharp
Another good one: this problem is occurring right before a $100k tournement.

This is obviously a fault of valve and steam, it would not be good if DF started to fix the problem and they re-patched right after he fixed it.[/u]
nah system rollbacks wont work, the server and the client need to be running the same versions of the game, or the client will get that class table error.
I dont think that the update's update will solve any of our problems; the memory addresses sourceop uses for functions have changed from the update...unless I am completely wrong and sourceop is entirely rcon-based.
And even if it is, the fixed rcon update still wont help the fact that when we start up our servers they will be running normal Deathmatch.
I've even tried loading the plugin manually, which didn't work.
This is by far the best plugin I have seen. I just hope DF doesnt say f*** it and stop the development.
DF can't do anything about it at this time. Valve hasn't updated the SDK to reflect the changes they made to HL2DM.
You've just gotta wait it out. We've been through this before (yp)
all of the problems that they created with the new update severely outweigh the problems that they fixed. i think that they should undo all of the changes they did instead of comforming all of the problems so that they are problems in SDK, too.
Yeah I think most if not all 3rd party plugins got hosed. So SourceOP might be down for a bit.
wow i guess god picked a good day 4 my pc 2 crash lol
