    Canadian $$$

As of the time of this posting, one Canadian dollar is now worth $1.03(US)! That's right! Just as RED>BLU, now Canadian money is worth more then the useless green paper called the American greenback.

We rule you now Yanks! Kneel before us Canadians and acknowledge our immense wealth!!!!

    MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Why can't I be st00p!d and troll once in a while, eh?

i like the USD/CAD 1.00/0.64 rate in 2002. Living in Buffalo, NY, we exploited the hell out of that in Niagara Falls...lol

When they're not losing the Olympics Canadians are hard at work ensuring their dollar is worth 3 more cents than their American counterpart.

it was like that in the early to mid 90's too. nothing better than changing $200 US into $300 canadian before crossing the border on your way to Casino de Montreal! "I'm already up $100 bucs and not even at the casino yet"

I remember backpacking through London back in 1992. I was stunned when 1 GBP =$2.41(CDN) A Canadian beer in London cost me almost $6!(bottled beer was only around $3 back home at the time)

And then when you changed it back were you like "DOH!" or did you just lose it all?

Also prices and promotions have usually been better in the US (see gas prices and such) People still visited plattsburgh for shopping when it was down at around 75 ish.

Had good nights and bad nights at the Casino De, but always spent my wad on St Catherine's regardless. Never needed to convert Candian back to US after 1 of those trips
