If something were to go wrong in such a trade, we (admins) would be unable to look into the issue and take appropriate action on the forums (such as a ban) as we are not experts in every conceivable trade category that one may trade. Not going to happen, don't bother bringing it up again as the answer will still be no.

Get new admins that can like adults and not have power trips over little things AND Not break the first rule on the forum rules!!!

Welcome to Sourceop. Here are a few rules for the TF2 Items section of this forum. These rules apply to Item Trading, Buying/Selling and TF2 items.

-Be polite and respectful to other members and Admins.
-Don't sell accounts (steam or any other). Gifting games through steam is ok, CD key selling is not.
-Don't sell items outside of source/steam/TF2 (ex. cars, shoes, cellphones).
-Don't create multiple threads. Close your old threads before creating a new one. Threads will be locked.
-Don't bump your thread within 2 hours of the last post in that thread. If your thread gets locked, don't create a new thread until after 2 hours has passed.
-Don't scam or send phishing links. This is an auto-ban.
-Don't post mis-leading information about the products you are selling/trading. (ex. my vintage bills is one of a kind)
-Don't hijack someone else's thread. Create your own thread.
-Please keep all game trading/selling/buying in one of the two game trade sticky threads.
-Link your Steam ID or backpack in the original post of your rep thread. This is to prevent scammers from using your rep.

I have been coming to these forums everyday for a month and I never once saw an Announcement thread in the Item Trading forum about rules changing!
