Worth it?
Worth it?
I'd get it If I didnt already have it, I think its worth it
Still a bad game.
Worth the full price, you clueless fiends
L4d2 is not worth a penny, the game sucks. L4d on the otherhand is totally worth it.
Not going to go ranting on about why l4d2 sucks, etc.
L4D2 is loads of fun, dont see why theres so much hate

The sequel followed the generic anime writer formula. Take old figure. add different clothes maybe a new skin color. BAMN new character. take old weapon. add new sounds and models BAMN totally original and new weapon. As was said by many it added things that the modding community could have done themselves without the 50dollar pricetag. couple that with ruining hunters bad map design and obvious exploits that never got patched and you have a bad game. add killing the competitive community and complicating a game that was supposed to be simple and you have an awful game.(i did play the game for about a month when i realized it was exactly the same.)
Doesn't mean l4d2 is a bad game
ignore these other shitheads, it's a fantastic game, and versus is fun as hell with people from your friends' list. we (bunch of sourceop people) actually played pretty frequently up until about a month ago, been sporadic since then but if you ask people they're usually up for it.
so yeah. definitely worth it.
I'm actually more on the side that l4d2 is a bad game. Long story short, yes l4d2 has some huge benefits to it compared to l4d, but overall l4d in my opinion is better.
L4d seems to be more for pubs then competitive, which is more my taste. In L4d2, when I played it, my team could have a 15 minute dryspell and not get a charger, other times back to back charger between lives. This makes it very difficult to make strategies while spawning because if you get 4 weak classes, it makes it difficult to do better then the other team. Whereas l4d, it is much easier to make strategies (ie: quad cap).
Plus many more minor reasons. I know its personal preference, but I just don't get the same 'enjoyment' out of l4d2 as i get in l4d1, therefor I just don't play l4d2.
Overall, yes, its a good game and worth the experience.
