    Delete an account on TF2items.com

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this, but I saw no better place.

Is there any way to delete an account on TF2items.com? I signed up months ago, and now I kinda want my info off of there. I don't mind if people see my backpack, I just don't want my Steam ID linked to my TF2items.com account anymore.

your steam account is linked regardless. why you don't want your steamid linked is beyond me but that is how the site works. Considering the url also includes your steamid and has your name even if it somehow blocked them from linking to your page if someone really wanted to find you they could. Still don't see why you would want it to block it regardless.

I'd settle for being able to change my tf2items.com ID. I used a name for tf2items that I'm not really happy with. I wasn't thinking about it when I created it, and it's not really a name I'd want linked to my Steam ID if, for some crazy reason, someone Googled either one. I know, it's kinda paranoid. I don't mind people knowing me as Pecos, but this other name I'd rather not have "out there."

Regardless, it is most likely too late. When someone is online, it spreads. There are bots that crawl websites 24/7, and you simply cannot stop it. It is probably cached in google by now, plus steam friends also have your previous names.

As for your steamid, anyone can get your steamid if they have a link to your steam profile. There is a simple convertion process to convert steamids to community profiles, and vis versa.

I'll post here what I sent to your email:
If you make a new account, you can claim any backpack. Once you verify, it will move the tie from the old account to your new one.
