Because 7$ isn't shit, and neither is 10 cents.

Uh, derp, keys are 2.50 each in game, so they're already selling them for less. If you don't want vintage hats, don't buy vintage hats. It's your own choice to buy them or not...
And as for your 'overpricing' goes, buds sell here for 20$ each, AKA, eight keys, while in game, its worth 11-14 keys, or 20~22 refined, and bills sells for 12$ each, which is less than five keys, when in game, you buy it for 7~8 keys. So uh... yeah... shut up when you don't know what you're talking about.
Applying value to worthless cosmetics, a year ago we would have laughed at this post.

While yes, there are complete morons who charge fifty keys for bills or something, there are plenty of people who trade them for their real value, sometimes lower sometimes higher. I.E.- 95% of the people who use this website. While I haven't personally seen an Engy cap going for seven dollars, that seems rather fair to me, seeing as that+1-2 other vintage hats would be fair for a bills... so if you get the 7 dollar hat, a 3 dollar hat, and a 2 dollar hat... you're adding up the value to a bills, but you could have just as easily bought a bills...
Vint is rare because they aren't in production anymore. Prestige might not be the right word... but I'll use it anyway.
Thanks for calling me a dipshit because I wanted earbuds, by the way. If people didn't buy keys to trade for promos, I.E. most likely less than what the promo's worth (durr), then circulation would go down and key prices would shoot up in game anyway. The best way I've figured to start making profit is to sell bills for eight keys, buy bills for seven keys, keep that going, because it takes less time and middlemen, and its a price a lot of people would take for it. Obviously I'd buy my first bills or my first batch of keys with real money... but after that I'd start making profit. The point is, without key buyers... there wouldn't be keys. I didn't say I know everything... quite a bit, though. Unlike you who seems to just say 'you're wrong I'm right', and makes invalid points.
If you don't like the price of something, don't buy it? If nobody buys it, the seller will leave or lower the price. If somebody buys it, then clearly it was actually worth $7 (at least to someone).
supply and demand 101..DF you should be an economics teacher =P
HERP. I really don't get why people don't get this. People will ask whatever they want, and it's up to the user to find the seller right for them.Originally Posted by Drunken_F00l
