Error loading sourceop (Linux-Ubuntu server)

Hello there,

I've been trying to get the sourceop addon working since yesterday. but kep getting problem running the sourceop addon

error message i get is:

failed to dlopen /home/xxxx/Valve/orangebox/bin/sourceop_i486.so error=/home/xxxx/Valve/orangebox/bin/sourceop_i486.so: undefined symbol: GetCVarIF
failed to dlopen sourceop_i486.so error=./bin/sourceop_i486.so: undefined symbol: GetCVarIF
Unable to load plugin "sourceop"

Server itself is working fine.

More information:

the sourceop_i486.so is placed in Valve/orangebox/Bin Folder
the gamemod content i've placed in Valve/orangebox/tf/ Directory

wondering if the vdf file is correct as it says:
"Plugin"
{
"file" "sourceop"
}

shouldn't this point to the bin directoy etc?

i'm quessing its the sourceop_i468.so that isn't working

The orangebox version of SourceOP isn't released. The released version is only for ep1 engine games like hl2 deathmatch.

ahh, didn't know that. i guess sourcemod and metamod work fine on orangebox then?
