Okay, so I got flamed out of the SCO global chat for realizing that the game wasn't in beta anymore last night. The entire thing just FELT like a beta test to me and I asked in global "Anybody know if they were going to do a character wipe after the beta" and everybody chimed in "THIS IS LIVE, THE BETA IS OVER".

My only response was "WAIT.... this is what I payed MONEY for? Do I get an apology letter or something?"

I expected the same thing. Also to top that off I felt that while I love Star Trek, all their games are vastly inferior to Star Wars games. I guess its really just that star wars has a more fantasy adventure feel to it that easily builds games. So I figured Id pass on this mmo and might get the star wars one.

As for FF14, dont bother. Its gotten terrible reviews in Japan and now the price for used copies of the game have dropped to around $15.

Too bad that FF13 is going to be shit because they had to cut out more than half of the game to fit it onto the XBAWKS, and when they found that out they got REALLY REALLY lazy.
