actually DF a server with a war-style mod would be sweet
i mean, it would just have to be higher demo and solly class limits, and few other classes. maybe medium medic limits too
i actually kinda like the craziness. if people really played that server, there'd be medics who popped up as well
it'd teach awareness like crazy so people who want to do comp play (bleh) can 'train'

just switch your custom server to that war farming map and limit demomen to melee weapons.

Im also in favor of converting a less-used server into a WAR server temporarily. Then again, I wouldnt have to do any work involved in making that switch, which is probably why I like the idea.

My idea would actually work, as there is already an empty CUSTOM MAPS server sitting around collecting garbage.

for those of you who hate this update, then yes, you'll have servers to play on after the update dies down: every other server out there
personally i enjoy the fast-paced style. plus, not having engies ensures that you rarely will turn the corner and meet a sentry. i would like a war server
