You just had to go to the link then you could vote, no account required. Anyone could vote. /b decided to try and get these little dragons to win the whole thing over mario/link/samus etc. They did beat Samus but then gamespot reversed it and said they cheated.Originally Posted by Drunken_F00l

Ya, since it's one vote per IP I don't see how anything 4chan did was wrong.
Apparently, Someone made some macro that put in multiple votes. They used iMcaro on firefox. Gamespot then said people "cheated" in voting for Bub and Bob and took away a ton of votes. Surprisingly, the percentages switched. (Bub and Bob had 53.1% at the end, but then Samus had 53.1%). Kinda fishy to me, but it was all in good fun and they took down Master Chief so that was pretty funny.
