I thought of making a new thread but I will put my .02 here.
You and Versed are allowed to be on the same teams and there are certainly enough good players to balance the teams. Those who complain about two players getting on the same team, TWO PLAYERS OF SIXTEEN, are whiners (Adder, you are a whiner).
Now onto the team stacking issue:
Stop griping! I hear it too much and now its just pointless.
Last week, I joined a server. The score was 11-0. The team I joined had the zero score. A demo joined my team just as the round was starting as well. Some players on my team started caring because I asked them to switch classes to help out. Lo and behold, we won! We went on a winning streak of 13 straight and (Guess what?) the other team started complaining of team stacking. I guess the teams weren't stacked when the score was 11-0.
Of course, immediately thereafter people started rage quitting instead of communicating and working together.
Scenario #2:
On a morning, I joined when the map was rotating and joined a team that got rolled. We were down 7-0 and I finally decided I had enough. Did I join the other team or quit? No! Our team started communicating; we wanted to win. The score ended up being 25-9 after an hour (in our favor). There wasn't any complaints about team stacking at that time because the right people (or wrong ones) weren't on. In this case our team makeup remained the same but we started calling out sentry locations, warned others of incoming attacks, and called out the times to move forward.
Which brings me to my last scenario:
I was on a team that started to roll when a member of team EMC joined with the name "Worst sourceop server." The person immediately started to gripe about team stacking. I find the complaining ironic as the previous posters call team EMC out for team stacking.
I have been on teams that were getting throttled and you know what I do? I invite people on my steam friends list to come help me. The wonderful aspect of steam friends is that they can be there for you if you need them. Most people would rather complain though instead of thinking of solutions. I told this person to invite some friends. One person joined but it wasn't enough and eventually both of them left.
Solutions to team stacking:
1) Stop rage quitting when your team losses one round. This happens constantly whenever I am on. If I have just joined many times I will get auto balanced. The team I am autoed to will win one round and we will have more quitters on the losing team. No joke, I have been auto balanced as many as four times in a single match because too many people quit when they lose a round.
2) Class balance. This has been brought up in detail. I have lost so many times when my team losses its collective mind and somehow believes we can win with 4 snipers and 3 spies. Teams should have three-four medics at all times. The team with 0-2 medics will lose the majority of rounds to the team that has four.
3) Invite your friends to help you. If you have found yourself friendly then you have a list full of people who may be able to help the situation. Throw them an invite!!! They may come and help balance things or EGAADS help you win. Then the other team will complain that you are team stacking
