I have G5 mouse (is very similar to g500) for 1 month so far and it doesn't broke yet which is nice, and buttons on the side is nice for hotkeys (like mic and something). Does your's come with weight?

I have been on the MX610, which uses the same ergonomics as the MX518 and G5, but I have been using it for about five years so it is on it's last leg (bad reception, needs some mouse tape for the bottom so it can glide again).

Lots mouse is good, as long as it have scroll wheel, and cord (hate fucking wireless, batteries sucks).

wireless mice are pieces of shit if you're serious about FPS's. i had a razer mouse and that expensive pos sucked. i got a 30 logitech wired mouse and it kicks ass.

Still working beautifully, except the scroll wheel has stopped working.

Thinking of getting another mx518 once I upgrade to a new rig.

I got a G5 back in early '07, bought a Lachesis a year later. Used the Lachesis for a few days then went back to the G5 and haven't used the Razer since.
