tf2 idlers

i used the idler for about an hour when it first came out, decided it was unnecessary and never worried about it again. I come back in and suddenly i'm flagged as a "cheater". Especially since at no time did i ever recieve any warning not to idle. Valve blows.

easy solution: quit cheating and valve wont call you a cheater

OK so anyone thinking the same thing and want to try to do something like have the cheaters hat taken away or try to get a new hat made for idlers like a Indian feather hat named Indian givers hat or something email me your user name off steam and email @ bentcougar@yahoo.com if you want on the list i will be sending it to steam to get something done i don't like being called a cheater when they told us we could do this and there are a lot of people already on this list just let me know.

i mean how can they can do this to this many people? I'm not a cheater nor have i ever cheated i used a program that they said was OK now everything goes to shit and we get left out and outcast.

You're not VAC banned, all they did was take away what you got from the idler and not give you a halo.

They will be adding items back that you've "earned" with achievements today. In addition, they seem to have made their own .. idler .. or something. People are apparently getting items when they're not playing.

It's really not that big a deal. The only thing that concerns me is the 'sanctity', for the lack of a better word, of a game after its purchased from valve ... if they can always change it based on what ever they want .. who knows what will happen in the future.

No i think it really is a big deal they lied and now cheaters is all over the place being tossed out and they get a free hat for not doing it when they told us we could and we don't get shit just stuff taken away just doesn't seem right to me at all.i understand if they just wanted to do there own idler or some shit but to do it this way is just wrong and it makes the people that did it seem like there getting punished with false labels.

Look ... I don't disagree the way they handled it was stupid. They never gave any indication they had an issue with the program, even mentioned that they had no plans to punish anyone for using it I think ...

But really, the only thing that has happened is that you lost items given to you by using the idler and not given a halo. That is the extent of your punishment.

i know it's not like people lie like that everyday and just take stuff i guess that's what its all about.guess i just didn't understand lies and then you get to take stuff from people after you lie to them,then reward people afterwords that did nothing but bitch until something was done so sorry for the misunderstanding guys i get it all now i guess cry baby's always get what they want if they bitch about it long enough and then they get to set there and call you a cheater thanks for clearing everything up everyone

oh also i played a few games today just to check out the halo in person so i went Engineer and set some stuff up people saw i did not have a halo in 2 games and i was called a cheater cursed out and booted so thank you valve for clearing it up for everyone,and maybe that's why I'm a little pissed also
