This was the original link. I came back a year or so later and noticed my rep was gone and now I am back into trading I really would like to know.

Why did you contact us & make a support thread about it at the same time?

In any case. A long long time ago we contacted almost everyone regarding their reputation and the purge of it. We gave people weeks to reply, and quite a few never did so. I can't find your rep thread anywhere, except the new one you created.

If it was removed, it was due to having no identifiable information linking the thread to any steam account or active sop user account, we sent out mass emails and posted multiple announcements about it for half a year, we also attempted to manually add every user based on registered email address in steam (when you still could) and IP lookup at other communities attempting to find linked steam accounts (such as tf2tp). In addition, users had another half year to recover their threads (2012 we are talking about) this was done to purge invalid rep threads and bring existing user threads into compliance with our new rep rules on our old forums. We didn't start purging them until almost a year later (in anticipation of upgrading to our new forums software). Today maybe 100 still remain for administrative reasons (due to postings in the threads) but the rest were long removed. Skyrider and myself spent conservatively hundreds of hours each screening close to 20,000 rep threads and saving as many as we could link to a particular user. If we could not link it to a user, no point in keeping it around.
    Thanks.
