... Seriously?
Did I annoy you with the amount of "sorry" "apology" "thanks for answers" and happy emoticons to show you I'm trying to work on this here and not just annoy you for no reason?
I spent more than few hours reading the rules back and front, going to all section, searching everything if it wasn't dealt with before.
Got many trades done, added some reps, and I overlooked one small thing, which is not so hard to overlook.
-> what I thought that matters: matters.png
So it's not I didn't read or care about rules, it's that I didn't check that a steam account is linked in YOUR system or not, which I wasn't even aware that someone could be unlinked
(you can't rep them anymore anyway, so the existence of their rep thread is just misleading). The "check if they are linked and were active" is not even in the rules, it's only in the "attention thread!", which looks more like a guideline how to prevent scamms.
That is not this case! The trade happened well, I just gave wrong rep because I wasn't aware of the fact, he didn't have his acc connected.
A small mistake that happened. I meant no harm against anyone, it wasn't supposed ot give hiim "fake rep"
so he could scamm later, it was just a rep for trade that happened through this site, with no problems.
Why do I do this all?
a) to figure out what I did wrong -> SUCEEDED
b) to help others not to make the same mistake, because it is easy to make it (+ those notlinked accounts shouldn't exist anymore)
And now you give me probation (which as I found in FAQ is something like temporary ban) for breaking the rules
(as is said in FAQ as the reason you can get probation for)
So what did I break now? Asking in support topic that is meant for asking and dealing with problems?
Perhaps you misinterprated my last sentence "above" you reacted to:
quote " since you seem to not know them that well" -> I did read them thouroughly many times, you accuse me wrongly
quote " since you indicated above you do not check users as you should do anyhow"
-> I DID check everything I knew about based on reading the rules, I just didn't expect that the guy I traded me sent me a link to his SourceOP page that lead back to his profile, but wasn't connected (and thus he hasn't logged in). Aside form that I checked everything (trade status, inventory, games, etc. -> the steam profile is correct!)
quote " and being stupid/lazy is not a valid excuse"
-> so above in my last response I just indicated that I "didn't knew I had to check his "link" and what the "link" meant.
That's a mistake - I'm not being stupid nor lazy!
Yes, I didn't know that. It's not written anywhere too, what it means.
But that is just a mistake, doesn't mean I didn't read or care about the rules! I do both!
So once again - please accept my humble apology, I mean no harm to anyone or to annoy you anyhow, I'm just trying to solve stuff here. I am a honest trader that would never steal or do something shady
and thus I BEG YOU to remove the "probation" (that I got for writing my problem in a support section of this forum) or at least tell me how long is the probation for and what to do to remove it)
I want to use this site more, as it is for me so far the only site that can make me trust some people in $ trading.
