I played versus quite a bit but got into playing the zombies more than the survivors. So the long respawn timer was a huge annoyance. I understand not wanting a flood of specials but they cold at least let me play the mindless zombies or something while waiting.

So four maps to play through with no real promise of more updates is worth $50?

Survival isn't fun. Versus can be fun in the rare good match, I'll admit, but with only four maps?

Well, IMO there is no other reason to play the game but versus. Admittedly, if you can't get a game with friends, random pubster teams are 75% crap, and if you play against exceptionally twitchy survivors as infected, you are pretty well neutralized. I still enjoy it quite a bit for the chance of killing all the survivors as infected, and the millions of ways it can happen when you play against humans.

I only play l4d now if I can get at least 3 other friends playing it. Otherwise it's just horrible.

l4d2 just seems like more of the same.

They are just appealing to the console crowd, as long as they continue to work on TF2 I don't care.
