Question About Outside Reputation Page
Hello,
Sorry for if this has been answered somewhere else. I've never seen this question before so want to ask it for myself. I've been checking some reputation and saw someone else comment on someone who's reputation page was tagged [INVALID]. Specifically, I ended up looking at this page. http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/1...t-s-rep-thread
I thought that Skyrider's link at the bottom was a link to the rules and decided to check it for any updates to make sure that I was still following the rules. However, it takes me to a page that gives the following message.
Dear Julia_Gillard_the_Honest,
You've been linked to this page because you've been violating the SourceOP reputation rules. Most likely because you have been given / received reputation of a transaction/sale that originally was not done through SourceOP. Remember that when you buy or sell something, either you or the other person requires a buy or sell thread here on the SourceOP forums.
You've been informed and warned plenty of times that outside rep is not allowed.
And for that you are not allowed to create a new reputation thread for 2 weeks.
You also cannot use or link your previous reputations in your new one.
I've checked my reputation page since and nothing seems to have happened. It appears to just change the start to the logged-in user's name. I think that that is all that happens with this page but I just want to be 100% certain. Have I accidentally given myself a SOP reputation warning somewhere that I don't know about or should I not be worried?
Thanks in advance.
