I came across this fantastic Nade launcher for the Demoman earlier today and though that it looked great, and made much more sense than valves vanilla model.

Much to my dismay I see nothing happens when I try to play it on the server. I understand that some people I guess can use models to cheat, but isn't there a way to make exceptions for sv_pure for models that just enhance the experience?

I don't understand the skinning thing. What is the draw? No one else can see it but you.

It's just a change of scenery, and part of the reason why I find it kind of silly that the option to use them on valve 1 was taken away when I'd been using them for months. Since it's not affecting anyone else theres no real reason for them to be disabled.

What server were you on where it wasn't working? Custom view models should be working.

I just don't like looking at the same old skins all the time
Also, all my skins work just fine on the OP servers so I don't know what to tell ya.
