Please enlighten me to where I was being hypocritical

I just found this trade here - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4510754.
In this trade you state that you are in no hurry to sell these items, which can really only mean one thing: You're going to wait 'til you get a high enough price to satisfy you.
You're not going to sell them to some lowballer who strolls by begging you to cut off a great deal of your price while he shouts "BUT I REALLY, REALLY WANT THAT ITEM".
Be it items worth several hundred dollars or items worth only a few, people want the price they can realistically get, and not a much lower price than that.

If that's not being hypocritical, I really don't know what is.

I know how a trading market works, I understand that people are going to sell to the highest bidder. When I put offers in on expensive unusuals that I have an interest in, which do not have any current offers, and get cursed out for being a worthless lowballer, I take offense to it; I think the majority of people that put as many hours into trading as I have would as well.

My whole point is that people could be a bit friendlier to others who offer on their items. I don't care if I get lowballed, I just tell them no thanks, how fucking hard is that? I don't feel a need to go out of my way to make them feel like shit. Maybe thats a cool thing to do around here though IDK.

My bp is liquidated in to buds more or less, I'm not in a hurry for a few extra keys/refs, especially since I don't play TF2 often anymore. I don't plan on taking the unreasonable offers from the sharks that haunt tf2outpost. If thats being hypocritical then I guess anybody thats ever felt that the price of certain items are unreasonable are hypocrites. (e.g. almost everyone)

WTF??? I've put in plenty of hours into tf2, and at my peak i had roughly 75~ buds in unusuals, and guess what it gets really fucking annoying when everyone lowballs on them, i was getting on average 20 offers per day, and guess what, 19 of them were lowballs. When 95% of the offers one receives are lowballs from people who know better one tends to get pissed off at people.

If you don't want someone to call you a lowballer and you dont want to be told to fuck off, why not try making a fair fucking offer rather than lowballing.

I am starting to wonder about something Bukz...where did your buds come from in January? As in, on January 9th, you suddenly had 5 buds with no history attached to them, whereas on December 30th, you had zero buds (or anything in his BP worth close to a single one).

So lets just assume for the moment that the total sum of my backpack is 10 refined. if i offer 10 refined on a 3 bud hat the guy should just accept my offer bc thats all i can offer? and by rejecting it he's being an asshole???
