Well WombRaider, I agree lots of people fall for similar bullshit in everyday life, but that wasn't my point when I created this thread.
I suppose my point was that legitimate business practices in the TF2 trading market are nearly extinct, this guys attempt at over-inflating the value of his shitty vintage is a great example.
Why TF2TP/TF2outpost admins allow such crap on their site is beyond me. Maybe because they are no different when it comes to doing whatever it takes to turn a profit.
I had loads of fun over the past year or so trading TF2 items, and I managed to profit quite a lot; but I didn't have to resort to such desperate attempts to shark other traders. I put my time in and earned what I have today. The fact that the majority of the new players/traders cannot do the same really does make me rage a bit on the inside.
But my sorry little thread won't change anything, I more or less just wanted to out this guy for the dickhead that he is.
