    BSOD Problem

Okay so with the purchase of my new laptop 1 week ago, i booted it up today to find that i have a blue screen of death with this error:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage.

    UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

If this is the first time you have seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. I f you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advances Startup options and then select Safe mode.

    Technical information:
    STOP: 0x000000ED (0xFFFFA80079F9940,0xFFFFFFFFC00000B5,0x0000000000 0000,0x0000000000)"

Well i didnt have anything important on it thank god.
I cant boot from the Win7 disk as i didnt get it with the laptop even though it came pre-installed.

Should i take it back to the shop or was it a virus and cant be covered under warranty?

    Thanks

What on earth i just pressed F8 when it was booting up to get it to that safe mode menu or whatever it is and disabled automatic restart on startup crash so that i could see the error messages.

then i turned it off by holding the power switch and then restarted it. THEN it booted up perfectly normal and im sitting on the desktop screen. the only thing is that its running a little slower and its a bit of a worry what just happened to such a new PC and how it was just magically fixed.

i reckon ill take it back and be like dafuq is this and hope they check it out and its all good :/
