So it is getting to my house by UPS in 2-5 hours, in case I haven't told anybody I ordered a GTX 260 core216, and I also ordered a new motherboard just in case (current one doesn't have PCIe2.0 and doesn't overclock quads well, was going to see how my benchmarks stacked against other benchmarks with PCIe2.0 and similar builds, plus, cheap P45 for safety measures)

blew the rest of my money in a casino, lawl 18th birthday

actually, that is a lie, I have 160$ for a pair of 640-gigs in Raid0, 40$ for ram, 80$ for a wolfsdale, 200$ for adobe therein Nairobi (but I won't find some spectacular hotels), I am building a case for my culminating project.

Then I will have a second computer identical to the one I'm using running next to it that I have lined up to sell for about 500-700$, then get an I7 setup.

Smart choice on the P45, I did the same thing, considering I will never use SLI. It seems like just as soon as people start buying 2 of GTXHDXPS10000 and putting them in SLI, another card comes out that trumps both of them a few months later. Besides, I haven't come across anything that has taxed my 8800GTS too much yet.

Actually, there is one (surprising) game that slows my system to a crawl in multiplayer with maxed out settings: Trackmania Nations.

Yeah it was the 21st.

So I got my card in the mail, installed it, got it loaded up:

CSS was maxed out on my 8600GT and pushing 60FPS, I don't care what it is getting now because it is probably something stupid.

TF2 I maxed out (lawl 16xQSS with Vsync), bounced around underwater with two sentries and 4 other people in a firefight and my FPS didn't drop below 50.

Dystopia looks great at full settings, high FPS (jumping around 200's)

WoW is fucking maxed, I stacked the 24xMS with the 16XQSS that my video card can force and I was still getting 120FPS

I am going to re-install Fallout 3, CoD4 and this Far Cry 2 to see of those get any better in eye-candy-mode and HIGH-FPS

I am going to get some good benchmarks with this mobo before I switch to see if there is really a difference between PCIe2.0 and 1.1
