haha no surprise, really.
Also, someone on Twitter was confirming this. Said they went to their local liquidation sale only to leave empty handed and pissed at CC. lol
It's not really surprising. Even at the end the lady said "There are laws they have to abide by and they follow the guidelines to the letter"
Well of course they do, because this country is ran by corporations with money. They get laws passed that state if shit hits the fan for their company or other large companies it's the law to make as much money as possible.
even if they liquidate everything at 50% of its regular price, they still can't beat newegg.
I have always hated circuit city, the only electronics store I have had any productive experience with was Best Buy.

Fry's is good, but there's not one around here. Newegg is always good. I'd probably only choose Fry's over Newegg if I needed something immediately or didn't want to wait for shipping.
yeah but the price difference is usually the price of overnight shipping anyway...

Circuit city closing all of their stores shouldn't be a surprise the were doing bad before the recession and this just pushed them more into closing down.
"recession" is too strong a term for what we are in, at least in America.
I mean, Russia bit it pretty hard, but we are at about the peak of this "recession" and we haven't even come close to what we hit in the 80's.
