The point that is being made is this, that EVERYONE is doing it now - and i do mean everyone....., and this makes it more difficult for sellers to get the value they paid for top tier unusuals - unless they get very very lucky and come across the right buyer/collector @ the exact correct specific time. Can't make a profit if you buy a hat at close to true value only to be lowballed by all the idiots offering 60% - marketing 101.
Personally I Don't really give a fuck about low tier - I quicksell most of my lower tier shit, and price very fairly my mid tier stuff. The problem is that the people who make this market worthwhile - like me or other collectors who have no problem paying through the ass for top end gear - are fewer and fewer every day.
