So many grammar and spelling errors I'm not sure that I understand what you are saying here. I don't need outpost?(at least I think that what you really dong need outpost meant What do I need then? Then you contradict yourself and say not to use spreadsheet and only use outpost, good job.

Instead of outpost I should not use the spreadsheet and put everything in outpost, so that people from other sites have to go there or I have to manage numbers there on TF2TP and on the forums here and then people ask for things I don't have because I forgot to update quantities on one of the 3 places when someone bought something, yeah that'll work.

Also to all, I know it is stupid of me to expect any kind of common sense or even light intellectual ability out of the TF2 community (or any internet community for that matter) but that is why I put this in the flame bucket, I just needed a place to vent about stupid people.

Posting from my phone, so no, I didn't mean dong (which my phone wants to be ding, despite suggesting it when I mean don't)

I mean, if you are selling so much that individual trades showing six items (or 8, I can never remember what it is) with their individual prices listed in each trade is too hard, and instead (I assume) you're just making 1-2 threads saying "zomg I haz so much more, and I'm buying too, click here for prices" then you are doing it wrong. Outpost can serve your need in that way, but only by inconveniencing customers. Either list them all individually, sell on a forum (maybe one like here) or make your own warehouse style site. The last one presumes your volume of merchandise is so high you need to list or manage a large ammount - the spreadsheet is the wrong way to handle such high volumes conveniently for your customers (e.g. They have to search your list in addition to outpost rather than just outpost).

So if you need a list you don't need outpost. Most likely though you just don't need the list, just need to learn to use outpost and not be lazy.

Tl;dr- your laziness is not a reason to be mad at your customers.

    Also, dong.

I do use a forum, I have a thread on item selling. That is why I use the spreadsheet. If I have posts here, and on TF2OP it becomes a problem keeping everything up to date with quantities and with prices as item values change. I actually got the idea from some other traders I saw doing the same thing back when I still had a lot of items that I wanted to get, because I liked it. It is all organized by class, and in the case of hats by quality.

If people don't like the spreadsheet and think the way you do that it is the wrong way to do things they don't need to buy my stuff. I am okay with that I don't really make any money off of trading I only do it so I can buy what I want from people selling backpacks and sell the extra stuff hence getting what I need for a little cheaper and giving me a little entertainment trading the extra items. I don't make people go to my trade instead of someone else who has prices in the description, and I still think that even if for some convoluted reason someone had a problem with the spreadsheet idea it at least gives a better guideline than the people who don't even bother putting any type of price on the items they are trying to trade.

I understand what it feels like.
But what i do with my trades is PUT IN ALL CAPS!
    IT USUALLY GETS THEIR ATTENTION!!
You say, here is the spreadsheet, like the prices add me for a trade, if not, you can haggle. IF YOU ADD ME WITHOUT POSTING ON HERE OR WITHOUT THE PROPER THINGS TO PAY, I WILL REPORT YOU!
Hope it helps, caps is a truly beautiful thing when dealing with idiots.

Caps is also a beautiful thing when granting people the justifiable means to class you as an idiot.
There is no clear cut road to adhere to imo. People (generally) are just idiots. Ipso Facto

Just list the prices of the 8 items in your trade.

I don't want to open up a new window just to CTRL+F to something, just let me see your prices right there on the trade without me having to do anything.

I agree, but I just have found, that caps do help, as being classified as an idiot by idiots doesn't really deter me.

They're stupid themselves, plus it's likely they think you're stupid and and that they can convince you their shit it worth more than it is.

Also I've always noticed a lot of idiots fail to notice things right in front of them, and even after being directed to something they'll still need special instructions.
