ok, so in early december there was all this hype going up about the tournament, i have seen nothing for a long time about it. What happened? are we still having it? I know frost got his internet pulled out from under him, but does this really hinder the entire tournament? or will it go on?

To my knowledge, it is still happening. We are waiting for a sign-up page on the website here. Drunken F00l is working on that (last I heard). Hopefully when things are up and running, Frosty will be in good with his parents.

The holiday also slowed things as it would have been too hard to organize in the middle of the holiday season with many people gone/busy.

If you're interested, some of the Goldrush guys are running highlander matches for fun in the meantime. These are hosted on Bill Steed's server. They have a Steam Group with info on the when, where, server IP, etc. If you're not yet a part of that group, you can get an invite from myself or anyone else in it.

I haven't worked on the signup page in a while. The good news is, I'm about half way done and I was able to get that far in a single day. I should have some time this weekend and if I'm right about being half way done I can get it done then.

I'll probably have to cut some of the stuff I wanted to get done but isn't crucial (like making it pretty).

'twas his idea but he made me promise we'd go on without him. Now we don't have to and he's learned a healthy (yet unfair) lesson about pissing off the ones who control your Internetz.
