Yeah considering they're 1/100 (originally, disregarding dupes)

I'd expect them to be way more.

I love the Headcase. Rarer than HOUWARs....$100 is pretty darn cheap.

It's not as high as a HOUWAR because you had to do jack shit to get it really. Every day steam gave out free pieces of coal for trivial tasks that could be done without games (like adding some games to a wishlist) and you could craft that together to maybe get the headcase. There was also no amazing prize if you completed every single objective.

With the HOUWAR though, you had to dedicate an asston of time and money into getting it; paying for all the games and playing through them until you got the achievement needed. There was no if / ands or buts about it, if you didn't completely every single one you didn't get the hat.

It's still rarer than the HOUWAR, and to have a chance to get it you had to do a shit-ton of of achievements, with a shit-ton of games. I was lucky enough to get one, but I bought something like 1200 coal and crafted that down, and only managed to get one.
The fact they aren't at least going for 200 is just silly. Proof the economy is driven less by rarity and exclusivity then it cares to admit. That said, if Headcase was the "level 1" hat, Ebenezer 2 and BMOC the ultra rare one, the BMOC would be going for 300, easy.

Also - STOP POSTING TRADE CHAT NOT IN TRADE CHAT. Though I suppose the stupid image macro's ruined the thread for trade chat.
