Laptop Recommendations?

I prefer 15.6", anything lower or higher is its either too big or too small and will be using my tv whenever using the laptop at home.

Looked at the link, but which one were you thinking of buying?
Lappies are great, only possible issues I had with my old one were the lack of good vents, Clocking speed and Graphics memory. The vents issue can generally be solved with a good laptop cooling fan - there are several very very good ones on the market that utilise systems for ultimate airflow and circulation.
Get a good clocking speed +2.5GHZ its vital, and make sure your Graphics card memory is over 1 too. Meh so many different things to take into consideration when getting a good lappy.
Not gonna pretend I know everything about it, and don't really have time to pick one out for ya right now from that site but hope this helps a little at least. I specced mine, spent an extra 500ish putting all the extra parts in (came to about 2.5k eventually) but if you are carefull you can pick and choose to get optimal performance.
Btw I run every game on max settings, 1920x1080 widescreen, so it is possible

That laptop looks pretty damn good if you ask me, 5400RPM (mid speed but good enough, if you can get faster clocking do but would prob cost you), 1.5g graphics card, 8gb mem possible, personally not a fan of NVIDIA, but seems to be a pretty good card imo. I7 is really nice too, I'm running I5 and its still good for gaming (my lappy is about 2 years old now and runs games like a boss lol).
Heh you are also getting dual SATA drives which is good, even tho SSD's are by far the way to go. Hey I like the look of this laptop

Just bear in mind a couple of things, you really want to check the casing out as the major issue's with laptops is cooling and circulation. You can get some pretty damn good specced laptop only to find that it overheats like a bitch and you are screwed lol. The other thing is to do a bit of research into it online, I did loads when I was buying mine to see what people said, in the end i picked a lappy that a lot of ppl said was shit and alot of others said was the best out there, but hey at least I got a fair run down of what people thought was right / wrong with it. Oh yeah one last thing, don't believe all the haters..... lots of people have no fucking clue whatsoever about PCs or Laptops and will literally spew shit about "whats wrong with it and how it is so shit because it had this issue (which is the user's fault for bad maintenance or w/e) or blah blah". There are a hell of a lot of laptop haters out there who insist that you can't game on one, and will literally troll forums posting along the same lines.

How would i go about upgrading the ram to 16gb to max that out? Would there be an option when buyin it online? Or take it to a PC shop with 8gb's after ive bought it?

Haha I was going to get an alienware, but then figured fuck that, because all you are paying for is the nametag at the end of the day. I just got a studio xps and maxed out the settings :P
Upgrading RAM is the simplest thing to do, and I wouldn't recommend you do it when buying it as they will make you pay through the damn teeth for it. All you have to do is buy the right card and slot it in, its that simple, and don't get them to fit it in a shop either, its another way to spend money for nothing. Take a few minutes out to check you have the right component, order it from EBay for example and take the back off you lappy and slot it in. Elementary my dear Watson!
