It just happened, someone on my friends list hacked my acct, he sent me a link to a steam tourney site, with all the tournry talk I thought it was legit. He has changed my info I cant log in. His name is FortySixnTwo, and I meet him on the 24/7 goldrush maps.

was this site trying to pose as the SourceOp tourney information or some other unrelated to sourceop tf2 tourney?

he's going through her friends list, saying
"add you in a tournament" with the link
Not sure if FortySixnTwo was the source or if he was just another jacked account

Yeah I thought maybe the acct. in question was jacked also, He sent me two messages first asked about the tourneys, then sent a link that was "steam powered" looked like Valve was starting tournament type grps. So not related to Source OP directly. The guy had been on my friends list for a couple of months so I thought it was a harmless link! 8O

Nothing I can do about it. You have to contact Steam support and tell them your account was hijacked. Give them all the information you can in the original ticket (time, website, original message sent to you, who sent it, original security question/answer, original CD keys, etc).
All the security warnings didn't give it away?

I have contacted Steam, I just wanted to share what happened with my community as an FYI. And I have no clue why I clicked on the link, just a lapse in judgement, noob moment, mildly lame... ;p And for the record Mrs. Username is always a noob...
