How can I help?

I can make servers, announcements, websites, posts on front page, etc. I want to help but I don't even know what's going on anymore.

Agreed. I am trying to help with this but I've avoided posting for the past couple of days to try to let you all work it out. Whatever is finally decided, let me know how I can help, post announcements in the Steam group, etc.

I would like to point out one thing, however...

The person who originally thought of this idea was respectful and courteous enough to come to DF and ask if it's okay to hold a tournament between server regulars for fun on his servers.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe that any of you who are planning your own tournaments or proposing new tournaments/clan scrims/etc. has even asked DF if he has a problem with that.

I think it's great that many people jumped on the idea and wanted to add their own thoughts and opinions, however it seems now we have too many people trying to be leaders and wanting to take over instead of just participate.

Same. I am still willing to crunch numbers and do brackets but I'm not going to touch anything until we get an idea of teams, what kind of tourney etc...
