Understandable. I guess it just came across to a lot of people that you were attempting to exclude people with the way that some of the other posts were written. Personally, I don't care either way.

I will argue one point, however. Farm animals need to be excluded. I don't care how well trained your goat or chicken is, it'd just be too much to see them own half the top 25 list. I don't think I could bear the side-splitting laughter.

And if you have servers or DF is willing to provide a server, that's cool. I just didn't think it'd be fair to use up public server time for clan-based tourneys and tell people that are used to being able to log onto SourceOP servers 24/7, "sorry, you can't play tonight, there's a tourney you weren't invited to because you're not cool enough"

Also, I was not trying to presume what DF thinks or does not think as I have the utmost of respect for him as well but as someone who also volunteers a great deal of time into ensuring these servers run smoothly and that players are happy, I wanted to add my opinions based on what some regulars of the various servers have told me since this whole tournament thing came to light on the forums.

Like I told you before, I'm not trying to step on your thing/steal your thunder or whatever. I'm still here to help however I can.
