That is not the way the tournament is going to be. Also, if it was Goldrush vs. Valve Maps 1... that leaves a lot of people out. There are more than just those two SourceOP servers.

When the time comes, there will be a registration page on the website here.

That is the only thing you should take as "official" info at this time. Everything else is just various people sharing their thoughts, ideas and opinions.

i was aware of that, i was just voicing my opinion on the matter of dream team vs dream team. im aware that there are other servers, but the only ones ive seen entered were goldrush, valvemaps 1 and 2 which i didn't even see having 9 players yet. Just stating that i think its a bad idea and giving reasons to support my thoughts. while im sure there are plenty of reasons on the other side of the argument as well. im just curious to hear.

i haven't been active in a forum in several years, but my last one was something awful that was basically troll free due to the $10 cost and the immediate removal of all troll posts. Thats what i meant spoiled by something awful, i have seen some of the recent stuff on there and its not as funny as they seem to think it is so i'll agree with you there, but some of the stuff in their archives is still as great as i remember

I went straight from IRC to 4chan, which is why I can say that we don't really have much trolling here. There is really just me and Hell-met, in which the latter isn't really a troll, just somebody who likes to make up stuff loosely based on what you said and whine about it.

I troll, but in a less-obnoxious way, and I actually know where and when it is called-for.

well to be fair those are extreme cases of trollage. i went from random graphic design board to computer programming board to RunUO (the most troll filled board of all time im 100% convinced) to somethingawful. and its just been awhile since ive had someone going around searching for an argument while taking everything i type completely out of context. Although im done from this side as i need no more enemies and this thread should probably get back to the topic on hand.
