Very, very lame. Came home today, internet shut off. Called in, had to speak to a "security consult" and get read a bunch of blahblah legal bull. He "made" me delete the content (yeah.. uhh.. i sure did delete it, sir! you betcha!) and then turned the service back on.

HBO reported it on True Blood, just to give a headsup to everyone else.

Does anyone who maybe worked for cox or another isp understand how the process works? is the account flagged now and traffic is under scrutiny? or do they wait for another report? does it matter who the report came from, like if i got one now from HBO and i get one later from FOX or something?

anyway, i just wanted to scream at the rep that what they are doing is unethical and undermines the confidentiality of their consumers, but i knew it wasn't his fault, and knew i wasn't in the "legal" right.

today is crappy
