well here goes nothin.....i hav no idea wher to begin so i feel like i am plugin into a dark cave,,,,,,but i will get my server workin right if it kills me

sorry for double posting but i need to do this b4 i forget....retribution alomost never has our f**king sever up so im goin 2 try and start my own.....but here inlies the probelem..I have never done anything like this before and have no idea wher to begin....Im here asking no begging for sumone to take the time out of their day to give me instructions on how to proceed right after i turn on pc.......im sorry for being such a super nOOb i will not complain if noone wishes to help

I know but those trailer park servers just dont cut it on the long haul. Trailer park servers are the ones on somebodys home PC. Thats what I call them. Those are okay to test on but for the long run, no good. Plus most ISP's dont allow it. At least as a full time thing.

ok wow i cannot afford 48 dollars right now perhaps in time i will start my own server.

Set it up on your home PC now. Learn a bit and later it will help ya a bit. Set up a server and go head to head with a few friends. That can be fun. It also help to find bugs. I would never pay $48 a month for a server that would be shared with others games. Thats toooooo much. Also be careful there are a lot of fly by nighters out here selling hosting and gaming services. Do your homework before giving your money to someone.

comcast allows it, i used to have my server up 24/7 for weeks at a time.
