So what does that statement have to do with race?

I'm just not seeing the connection between the two

read that and then look at your (you who wrote the text) arm. Identify the color and connect it to a race.

YOU are connecting it to your race.

How is it even a stretch?

I saw a black person threatening to beat his wife and was like "hey, its like every episode of cops"

I've probably seen way more episodes of Cops than you ever will in your life time...and in no way is it even remotely close to "like every" episode.

And for the record, I'm not married. I'm too young to tie myself down just yet...

way to dissect the sentence wrong.

I was saying it was similar to every episode, not that it was consisting of nearly every episode.

Every other segment I see on fox is like:

cops get a domestic disturbance

pull up the the house

black guy is detained and exclaims: "Mup Da Doo Didda Po Mo Gub Bidda Be Dat Tum buhlshi muhfugga" and I am like "lawl, oppression" while the cops pretend to give a shit and take him to jail no matter what the eye witnesses say about his innocence

the other ones are rednecks who broke into their own house and druggies.
