Honestly I think the medic was the only one that needed the class update.

wait .. consumable items?
I know there is the sandwich and bonk drink ... but those are more weapon replacements than 'consumables'. It's not like you have to stock up on consumables before you go out on a raid fight or something. They could have been modeled as an extra health pack that took a few moments to bandage up or a shield generator that makes you invulnerable for a few moments.
You aren't taking a moment to stop and have a bite to eat so you can do 10% more crit for the next 5 minutes or something.

I love the pyro update, personally. TF2 is fun, but was getting a bit stale. I'm having about 110% more fun now that I'm trying to reflect objects back and do a flamethrower + burst + axe kill. It's be a long time since I've had that much fun. lol
Never really paid much attention to the pyro before a month or two ago. Now I feel hes almost OP.

consumable as in you use them and get an effect. But I was hoping they kept with the trend of edible items. Honesty if jarate would be best when used with the smg since it would then tear them to shreds so I'm hoping jarate is a melee replacement. Except his melee is so good that it might still be hard to replace with a jarate/smg combo.
Actually I'm fairly sure its a melee replacement since they say its "Jar-based Karate"

I do like the airblast on the normal flamethrower but I never use the backburner or the flare gun and I could do without the crit axe. I didn't even use the backburner back when it gave you +50 base health. I liked TF2 just as it was back in the day. All they really needed were more epic maps and a few bug fixes.
Avy, I didn't say I didn't want soldier and spy unlocks, I just don't think they "needed" it. lol

agreed...i think it all went downhill with the sandvich, nothing wrong with what it did but it showed the direction the game was going.
