I think stats should be kept. It gives a reason to keep playing at a server, and at least strive to play better than normal. I play on the normal map setlist servers, maybe it's not as bad, but I don't see many people going crazy over stats.

My one main problem with them is yes the stat sheets that come up in chat are very annoying. For example if you just get done with a crit or kritz they literally can take up one whole chunk of your chat. It's really annoying but I'll try the command to turn them off.

I would like it if you couldn't even access them from the game, that way if people do stat whore they'd just have to come here and get it.

Also maybe I'm just a moron, but the stats page isn't the easiest link to find on the SourceOP page.
