Just had a 15 minute conversation with Ikebot in a trade server about how pissed off he gets when he gives out price checks and doesn't get refined or keys in return for doing so. His 10 minutes are extremely valuable to him as well.

I guess some people just literally think that being polite is not free today. If you're too busy; say you're too busy. However expecting to be paid to give a noob advice (regardless of how useful it may be in the long run) is terrible, period.

I never said I was pissed not to be paid. I said I get pissed when they randomly trade me to begin with. I have never actually been paid for a pricecheck, but I do not go around demanding 15 minutes of people's time just to run off without a thanks. If a true noob comes up, I will give them the resources so they can price check in the future. But I guess not everyone believes it is better to teach a person to fish than to simply hand them the fish.

It's obviously hard to simply say "I am willing to pc for you, however I charge for my services" up front. Rather than expecting a donation after you "waste" your time. lol 15 minutes avoided. ......
