My rig is 2 years old:
- AMD Phenom 9950 BE @ stock 2.6 Ghz (quad core)
- Asus M3N-HT Deluxe mainboard.
- 8 GB RAM, 800mhz
- NVidia GF9800 GTX+ 512 MB
- Creative X-FI Fatal1ty Gamer blah edition.
- Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Resolution: 1680x1050
dxlevel 95
have AA on 8x CSAA, Anisotropic on 4x.
HDR=off, Motionblur=off, shader=low, color correction=off, multicore=on with the tricks for kicking off the core0.
I get a very steady 75 fps in any timedemo, with a framerate variability of about 8. in normal game its about 150 - 210 FPS.
GPU is not doing much to my sorrow, as TF2 is a CPU intensive game all the way. I mean, I can go to a lower resolution, and it wont help for my FPS. Not even a bit. About a year ago I had 300 fps normally... with the class update somewhere in august last year I lost bout 100, degraded a bit more since with all after it.
Got quite a long cfg for initialising stuff as I want it, if you want that I'll pm it to yah. Most of it I pulled from any FPS config I could find, and testing the things I found in them. made it quite extensive documented (as far as I could find any info).
