True words indeed. The amount of lobbying money in Washington could be measured in truckloads, thus making it impossible to do anything that is actually good for the general public.

Any effort to actually do something useful is immediately corrupted into a giant cluster-fuck of corporate giveaways or nepotistic creation of bureaucracy.
