It was no secret how my rank skyrocketed from around 100th place to 7th place, I never played it off like I got it just by playing normally. So allow me share with the moderators how I happened on this glitch. I was legitly building sentries on the bridge which was constantly being destroyed so I would pick up the pieces/guns and rebuild very rapidly (one of my many 2fort tactics). This is when I noticed there was no cap in the 5 points you get for building, which is a freak occurance since hlstats usually caps it at 7 builds in a row. So to test it, I built sentries and dispensers nonstop for about an hour and that is how I obtained my rank. I have witnesses that can vouch for me as they were there when I was rapid building/destroying. I might add that this was a freak occurance as I tried it again after the map time ended, and it did not work.

I may add that sometime I do build 7 sentries/dispensers in a row, after losing 75 points in rapid succession to new players on the server. I don't believe this is an exploit since everyone has the freedom to do this if they choose.

Now, with all this said I believe there is something fundamentally very wrong with the hlstatsx system. I'm a fairly decent player and I usually do very well. I don't turtle, I have a rushing playing style, but hlstats has made me into a very careful player. I can't stand losing 25 points to nearly everyone who kills me. Checking your forums, I see others are frustrated as well. Put it this way, I can maintain a 4:1 ratio by NOT turtling and I lose 500 points a match due to being killed by new players on the server? Come on now. So I guess this frustration partially lead me to do what I did.

So there you have it. Drunken_F00l I'd like to request an unban from the server. I don't care about ranks anymore, and from now on I'll just play for the thrill instead of what hlstatsX tells me. I love the server enough to overlook the meaningless point system is uses.
