There is so much prep work because it's competitive. It's like saying professional sports are too difficult to get into.

But you can make a living playing pro sports; it's not exactly something you would do as a hobby. I simply don't have enough time to play competitive tf2.

As far as assholes come, you shouldn't let them bother you real life and the internet have plenty of them.

Yes but I don't want to have to deal with any more than I would on a normal basis. Why bother wading through hours of bullshit trying to get good at a game :?
