You should try the europa barbarorum mod for R:TW, there's a few dissertations worth of historical information (because some people actually contributed work from their dissertations), they completely revamped the map (now goes all the way to India and up to Kush), and they reworked the voice packs so that most of the commands are in their proper languages. Oh yeah, they made it as historical as possible. It's a completely different game.
