Snowboarding in the olympics.
#2

I was discussing Olympic snowboarding with a coworker the other day.

We were discussing the attire worn in snowboarding for recreation, and how it doesn't differ from the Olympic stage. I'd imagine a skin tight lycra uniform with a missle shaped helmet should shave off a few seconds/milliseconds in an over all time, specially in the distance events (not so much half pipe, etc).

At what stage do you stop wearing baggy clothing and sacrifice the cool factor for pure performance. Sure, you'd look homosexual, but all the other event contestants understand that function over fashion.

Would love to see a contestant come in with aero dynamics and skill - and take gold because of their attire.
