I was banned yesterday for 13 days trying to vote kick an afk player. I am a regular on the sourceop arena server, hell it is practically the only server I ever play on, and you can view my time there, I am a very recognized individual on the arena server. I will sometimes joke around with some friends on there at 12 am, I will admit that, but this was during the day, and I was playing the server normally and got banned. I did not even get a written warning from any admin, just a minute after I tried to votekick the afk player, it was my turn to sit out in spectate, the banhammer sucker punched me. I don't know what yalls philosophy is around here, but when you ban a regular for 2 weeks over vote kicking an afk player, it makes me wonder if this is a community I should really be part of. I don't expect to be unbanned, I just want an explanation as to why I got such a harsh ban and what caused it. Hopefully it is a misunderstanding and I can be unbanned, if not, oh well.
