Errrr not quite. The last several years(at least in Canada) the dangers of obesity have been published far and wide. While smoking still kills more people directly, obesity is running a strong second.
Metabolism problems? That type of glandular disorder only affects less then 8% of the population. For the rest, any old excuse will do.
