Well Valve started giving out real community weapons. All they do special is sparkle. If I gave a few people sparkling weapons, would that be acceptable?

You should give people x # of weapons per y dollars donated so they can get more shiny weapons to show off as long as they don't differ in stats. Or just one, whatever you want.

I'm sure you can ask 1time for conformation, but just having a visible cosmetic thing that says "I donated" is one way to get people to donate.
