His theory is people over in the UK use the "c-word" so much that it's has lost it's offensiveness. Whereas we don't use it nearly as frequently here in the US, so some people still find it offensive.
He also states that, here in the US, we use douche bag so much that it's sort of lost its thunder. So we should switch to the business end of the bag and start calling people douche nozzles.
